11.3 Sources of danger

11.3.1 Danger of Burning

WARNING
The items cooked on this appliance as well as the grill
and the surface of the appliance can become very hot.
Adhere to the following safety instructions in order to avoid
burning or scalding yourself or others:
► Protect your hands during all work at the hot appliance by
using heat insulating gloves, dish cloths or similar.
► Do not put kitchen utensils, cooking or frying pan lid, knife
or other objects on the grill. If the device is turned on,
these objects are very hot.
► Do not move or transport device during operation.
► Hot oil / fat splashes during grilling of greasy or salty
meat. Risk of burns!
► Do not leave plastic utensils in contact with hotplate while
cooking.
► The temperature of accessible surface may be high when
the appliance is operating. Risk of burns! The temperature
of accessible surfaces may be higher if the appliance is in
operation. Be careful not to touch the heated stainless
outer surface or grilling surfaces. Use the handle to lift the
upper grilling plate.

11.3.2 Danger of Fire

WARNING
There is a danger of fire due to the event the device is
not used properly.
