5. FUNCTION TO RESCUE DEEP DISCHARGED BATTERIES
When the battery is connected to the charger and a charging mode is selected, the appliance detects
automatically the voltage of the battery and in case values are in a range from 4.5V +/- 0.5V to 10.5V +/- 0.5V
the charger will activate the pulse charging mode. This pulse charging process goes on till the battery voltage
reaches a value of 10.5V +/- 0.5V (if the pulse charge goes on for over 6 hours and the voltage of the battery
remains below the value of 10.5V +/- 0.5V, the charger will switch back to standby mode). Once this charge
level is reached, the charger will start the initial charging mode selected by the user and the battery shall be
charged quickly and safety. Thanks to this pulse charging mode, you may rescue most part of deeply
discharged batteries.
6. PROTECTION AGAINST FAULTS
If one of the following faults occurs: short circuit, recover process longer than 7 hours, bulk charging time
longer than 41 hours, 12V battery with a voltage lower than 4.5V +/- 0.25V, open circuit or reversed connection
of output terminals, the built-in electronic switch will turn off the charger and will restore the system in order to

7. TEMPERATURE PROTECTION
If, for any reason, the temperature of the charger increases too much during the charging process, the

9.MEMORY FUNCTION
This charger features a memory function (not available in 13.6V Supply and 16V Boost modes). When
switched on, the charger automatically configures itself to the last selected mode.
The user can select manually a different charge mode by pressing the MODE button till the light corresponding
to the correct voltage charge will light up.
