WARNING: Always switch off and un-
plug the power tool prior to any adjustment,
servicing or maintenance.
▪ In case the work area is remote from the pow-
er source, use as short as practicable exten-
sion cord with proper cross-section.
▪ Check that the auxiliary handle is properly
mounted and reliably tightened.
▪ Make sure the diamond wheels are reliably
fastened and rotate freely.
MOUNTING THE CUTTING WHEELS
Take the plug out of the socket before carrying
out any operation on the machine. Use only dia-
mond cutting wheels for speed 6600 min
For convenience lay the machine down on its
auxiliary handle and roller supports on the side
of the driving machine.
Adjust the cutting depth to the maximum value
(refer to "Adjusting the cutting depth") until the
opening in the wheel guard cover 3 stands
concentric in relation to the machine spindle.
Place flange 11 onto the driving machine spindle
through the opening of the wheel guard cover 3
and rotate the flange until its dihedral is fixed to
the spindle dihedral.
Mount the driving diamond wheel 12 from the
lower side of the wheel guard 2. Place the nec-
essary number of spacer washers 13 (refer to
"Adjusting the groove width") then mount the
second diamond wheel and tighten with locking
nut 14.
ADjUSTING THE GROOVE WIDTH
The number and thickness of spacers 13 be-
tween the cutting wheels define the groove
width, varying from 9 to 40 mm. All seven spac-
er washers 13 must be mounted regardless of
groove width. There must be at least one spacer
13 between the two diamond cutting wheels 12.
Mount spacers 13 on flange 11 in due order, the
diamond wheels 12 are mounted in the place,
specified by the operator. By operator's will it is
possible the use only one diamond wheel 12,
in this case all 7 spacer washers 13 have to be
placed behind the wheel.
Take care that the arrows indicating rotation di-
rection on the wheel guard cover and the wheel
12 coincide. Screw lock nut 14. Secure the spin-
dle by depressing the spindle lock button 16.
Tighten lock nut 14 with two-pin spanner through
the opening of the wheel guard cover 3.
Original instructions
TESTING NEW WHEELS
Let the wall chaser with new wheels 12 operate
for one minute at no load. Never operate the ma-
chine with faulty wheels.
If during operation at no load the machine vi-
brates excessively due to unbalanced cutting
wheels, do not start work prior to replacing the
faulty wheels with proper ones.

INITIAL OPERATION

Make sure power supply voltage corresponds to
the value, indicated on the name plate. Before
the machine is switched on, place the wall chas-
er in a position ensuring free wheel rotation.
▪ Unlocking: Press lock button 8.
▪ Switching on: Press ON/OFF switch 9 (the
wheels start to rotate).
.

▪ Locking: Release ON/OFF switch 9 and then
lock button 8.
▪ Switching off: Press and release ON/OFF
switch 9.
Place the machine on its side with the wheels
turned aside from the operator (fig.1).
In case of mains drop-out (or temporary
drop-out for time t > 0,5 s), when the ON/Off
switch is in ON position, the machine should
not operate (start) after supply recovering.
To resume normal function of the power tool,
first switch off and then switch on the lever
of ON/Off switch 10.

AUxILIARY HANDLE

The auxiliary handle 5 is fastened by M14 thread
to the console of the wheel guard 2. The auxil-
iary handle can be mounted on either side of the
console for operator's convenience. To enable
stability during operation the auxiliary handle
shall be firmly fastened to the wheel guard.
The auxiliary handle for these models is con-
nected to the body of the machine through vi-
bration dampers, protecting the operator and
reducing fatigue.
ADjUSTING THE CUTTING DEPTH
To avoid unevenness during chasing, adjust
the cutting depth 2-3 mm deeper than the ne-
cessary depth. Release lever 6 for adjusting the
cutting depth, set the desired depth by scale 10,
then tighten lever 6.
GROOVE CHASING (fIG.2)
Prior to operation check carefully the area to be
chased to avoid damaging hidden cables, gas
