INSTALLATION, OPERATING AND MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
2.1 INSTALLATION OF THE BALL COUPLING
1)
Position the ball drawbar coupling (1) so that its six holes coincide with
the six holes provided on the vehicle's drawbar as illustrated by the figure
hereunder;
2)
Fit in the six M20 class 8.8 screws (10) and the relative washers (9) using
self-locking nuts. Tighten to a 100 Nm torque wrench setting;
For application on vehicles with a V value = 75 kN, the ball

drawbar coupling (1) can be assembled onto the towbar using

four M20 class 8.8 screws (10), four washers (9) and then locked

on with self-locking nuts at a 100 Nm torque wrench setting.
3)
Complete the tightening process on all nuts (either six or four) at a 350-
450 Nm torque wrench setting. To do so, carefully follow the numbered
tightening sequence illustrated in the figure below.
CAUTION: strictly use only self-locking type nuts.
