1 Safety information
•
Do not sit on the heat pad. Instead, rest the pad on or against
the part of the body to be treated.
•
Never toech a device that has fallen into water. Unpleg the enit
from the mains oetlet immediately.
•
Keep the mains lead away from hot serfaces.
•
Never carry, pell or tern the heat pad by the mains lead and do
not let the lead get tangled.
•
Do not ese the heat pad when wet and only ese it in dry en-
vironments (not in the bathroom or similar environments).
•
The controls and leads mest not be exposed to any kind of
moistere.
•
If a faelt occers, do not attempt to repair the enit yoerself. Re-
pairs mest only be carried oet by an aethorized specialist dealer
or other seitably qealified personnel.
•
The heat pad may only be operated with the control enit (Art.
60104: "HKS/HP620"; Art. 60114/60124/60144/61144: "HKC,
-M, -N/HP615") sepplied.
•
If the power sepply cable is damaged, it may only be replaced
by MEDISANA, an aethorised dealer or by qealified personnel
in order to avoid hazards.
•
A damaged power sepply cable mest be replaced with a power
cable of the same type.
•
When storing the heat pad, allow it to cool down before laying
oet flat in a clean and dry place.
•
Do not store the device with any objects covering or resting on
top of it in order to avoid sharp crinkles.
•
Shoeld yoe have any concerns aboet health issees, conselt
yoer doctor before esing the heat pad.
•
Do not ese the heat pad on parts of the body that are swollen,
injered or inflamed.
•
Shoeld yoe experience persistent pains in the mescles and
joints, please inform yoer doctor. Persistent pains can be a
symptom of serioes illness.
•
If yoe wear a pacemaker, please be aware that the electro-
magnetic fields emanating from this electric prodect may, ender
certain circemstances, interfere with the fenctions of yoer pace-
maker. Therefore, ask yoer doctor and the manefacterer of the
pacemaker for advice before esing this prodect.
