Important safety notes:
DANGER
Danger with a high degree of risk which results in death or severe injury (irreversible) if not heeded.
Do not use the REMS cable shears (Art.-No. 571887), the REMS Mini Basic E 01 (Art.-No. 578618) pressing tongs or the
REMS Basic E 01 (Art.-No. 571855) pressing tongs with pressing inserts on live electric cables. The tools are not insulated and
therefore provided no protection against electric shock. A live electric cable must be disconnected from the power supply by a
qualified electrician before working on it.
The REMS cable shears are intended for cutting electric cables ≤ 300 mm (Ø ≤ 30 mm).

The REMS Mini Basic E 01pressing tongs, REMS Basic E 01 pressing tongs are intended for pressing Klauke connection
material for electric cables ≤ 300 mm , in connection with suitable Klauke pressing inserts series 22, narrow pressing. All other

uses are not for the intended purpose and are therefore prohibited.
Read and observe the safety notes and instructions delivered with the power tools. Only use the REMS Mini Basic E 01pressing
tongs, REMS Basic E 01 pressing tongs with the pressing inserts from Klauke series 22, narrow pressing, under observance of
the assembly instructions for the Klauke connection material.
Do not use the REMS cable shears, the REMS Mini Basic E 01 pressing tongs or the REMS Basic E 01 as well as pressing
inserts if they are damaged.
