Location/installation (Fig. 5/6)
• Avoid installing the presence detector in the
vicinity of
− Source of heat (fan heaters, air-condition-
ing units, lighting etc.)
− Objects with reflective surfaces (mirrors
etc.)
− Objects that may be moved by the wind
• Avoid direct sunlight.
• The recommended installation height is
2.5 m.
Lens shield
You can shield off undesired areas of detection by
attaching the enclosed lens shield to the lens.
Use scissors to cut the lens shield horizontally or
vertically until you achieve the desired detection
range.

rotary knob must be set to
• If inductors are switched (e.g. relay, gate,
ballasts), it may be necessary to use a
quenching circuit.
• Parallel switching of a max. of 10 devices.
Installation
WARNING: Disconnect the voltage and secure it
against reconnection!

Function test
• The sensor needs approx. 60 sec. starting
time.
• Switch the "TIME" rotary knob to "TEST" and
carry out the function test.
• Note the movement type (Fig. 6).
• The LED and the load are switched on for
3 sec. each time movement is detected and
switched off 2 sec. before the next detection.
• After the function test, stet the "TIME" rotary
knob to the desired value.
