1. Release the metal locking spring (1.).
2. Place the inner protective screen on the inner
side of the electro-optical welding filter as shown
in figure (2.a). Insert the electro-optical welding
filter with the inner protective screen between
the supporting frame and the metal spring until
the electro-optical welding filter is secured in the
supporting frame by the metal spring (2.b). The

connecting cable should be bent to the right side
while inserting the electro-optical filter into the
supporting frame, in order to avoid placing the
cable under the metal spring.
3. Lift the supporting frame with the welding filter
and put the outer protective screen in place (3.).
4. Lower the supporting frame with welding filter
(4.a) and lock the metal locking spring in posi-
tion (4.b).

Insert the outer part of the external controls
housing into the corresponding opening in the
outer left side of the helmet (5.).
6. Insert the electronic board with potentiometers
in outer part of the external controls (6.).

7. While pressing the electronic board, insert the
4 knobs to the potentiometers from the outside.
Take care, that the knobs are inserted correctly.
Check that the final position of the marks on the
knob correspond to the printing on the external
controls housing (7.).
8. Insert the screw to the hole in the axis of the
middle large potentiometer and gently screw it
to the end position (8.).
9. Insert the inner part of external controls housing
into the corresponding opening in the inner left
side of the helmet, screw in the 3 screws from
the inside (9.).
