Displaying temperature differences
This function subtracts the T2 temperature sensor reading from the T1 temperature sen-
sor reading and shows the difference in the main display. In the sub-display the current
reading is still shown from the temperature sensor which was set there.

Setting zero point

NOTE
If the thermometer does not switch off, check that the battery is inserted
properly and is not running low.
In the setup mode, the thermometer cannot be switched off. Exit the setup
mode before you switch off the thermometer.
You can reset the device to compensate for any temperature sensor errors.

Replacing the batteries
➤ Slide the battery lid of the thermometer down in the direction of the arrow (fig. 4 1,
page 5).
➤ Replace the 9 V battery (fig. 4 2, page 5). Make sure the polarity is correct.
➤ Slide the battery lid back onto the thermometer against the direction of the arrow until
it clicks.
