ASSEMBLING THE FRAME
1. Grasp the front and rear legs, and insert them into the X and Y
fixtures on the tubes, as seen in Diagram 1. When the legs are
assembled correctly, the metal pins will slot into the holes on the
fixture tubes. At this point you will hear them click into place.
2. Press the fixture side buttons (Diagram 2) and open the frame
by pushing the front and rear legs apart. The seat can now be
fitted.
ASSEMBLING THE SEAT
3. Open the zip on the back of the fabric backrest as far as possible
(Diagram 3) and slide the upper seat tube into the slots inside
the backrest, as seen in Diagram 4. Make sure you hear the metal
pins click into place.
4. Thread the upper harness straps through the slots in the backrest
(Diagram 5). Now cover the upper tube with the fabric and close
the zip (Diagram 6).
5. Hook all the elastic rings onto the plastic hooks on the bottom
of the seat (Diagram 7).
WARNING: Check that the seat fabric is fitted correctly before us-
ing the swing.
6. Take hold of the connection tubes on the seat frame (component
b) and insert the round shaped end into the slots at the side of
the seat (Diagram 8), making sure that the side hooks on the sun
hood are facing inwards towards the swing. Make sure you hear
the metal pins click into place.
7. To assemble the seat on the frame, slide the oval shaped ends of
the connection tubes into the mobile slots on the X and Y fixtures
(Diagram 9). When you hear the metal pins click into place, it
means the seat is fitted correctly. The assembling of the swing
frame has now been completed.
FITTING THE SAFETY HARNESS
8. Check that the upper harness straps are correctly slotted
through the slots in the fabric, as indicated in the previous para-
graph (point 4).
9. Slide the plastic rings into the slots on the bottom of the fabric
seat.
10. Slide the waist strap through the plastic rings located at the
bottom of the seat. Now use the relative clasps to fasten the
upper harness straps to the waist strap (Diagram 10).
11. Slide the two toothed ends into the buckle on the fabric crotch
strap (Diagram 11). The harness straps can be adjusted to differ-
ent lengths according to your child's build.
12. To assemble the dual tray on the swing, place the ends of the
tray on the side connection fixtures and press until you hear it
click into place.
BOOSTER CUSHION
The swing can be used with a modular booster cushion which has a
section for the body and a headrest cushion.
13. To use the booster cushion, thread the upper harness straps and
the waist strap through the relative slots; now fasten the upper
straps to the waist strap using the relative clasps.
14. Thread the Velcro through the selected fabric slot to fasten the
headrest to the backrest. The headrest can be adjusted to two
different heights to adapt to the various growth phases whilst
guaranteeing comfort and protection.
15. Place the child in the swing and slide the two toothed ends into
the buckle (as seen in Diagram 12).
USING THE SUN HOOD
Polly Swing Up also has a practical sun hood: To assemble it:
16. Grasp the sun hood making sure the side with the slots for the
baby toys is facing the front of the swing.
17. Fasten the sun hood side fixtures to the side hooks on the con-
nection tubes.
18. The position of the sun hood can be adjusted as necessary.
19. To remove the sun hood, gently pull the fixtures towards the
inside of the swing until they are released.
ASSEMBLING AND USING THE REMOTE CONTROL
20. The remote control runs on 2 x 1.5 Volt LR03-AAA batteries and
can be used either attached or detached from the fixture. See
Diagrams 13 and 14.
21. The remote control can be used to:
a) Switch the music and swinging motion ON and OFF;
b) Select 1 of the 4 swing speeds;
c) Select the nature sounds and tunes;

LR14 –C batteries.
