BEFORE THE FIRST USE

1. Slightly grease the baking plates of the grill.
2. Heat up the grill during 10 minutes with closed plates.
3. Let the appliance cool down a little so that you do not burn yourself and wipe the
baking plates with a damp cloth.
4. Do not use any agressive cleaning agents to avoid damage to the non-stick
coating.
Caution: The grill plates should not be opened further than a 90° angle to avoid
damage to the hinge.
USE
1. Place the grill on a firm, stable surface. Make sure that there is at least 10 cm of
free space at each side of the grill so that the air can circulate around the grill.
2. Put the adjustable support in its 'up' position if you want to achieve an extra fast
and efficient drain of the grease. The grease will run down the deep grooves of the
baking plates, into the removable tray.
3. Put the plug into a socket. The red power light will light up.
4. During the first use some smoke may escape from the appliance. This smoke
development will disappear after a few minutes.
