9.5.4 Advanced model 59 communication cable. Code 279256.000
This cable consists of a male DB15 input connector which is connected to the UPS unit and
a female DB9 output connector for connection to a computer serial port. This cable connects
to a serial port with the RS232 protocol or basic signals at the same time, making it possi-
ble to use the same cable for different configurations.
This cable comes with the unit.
9.5.5 Advanced model 60 (Y) communication cable. Code 279281.000
This cable consists of a male DB15 input connector which is connected to the UPS unit and
two female DB9 output connectors for connection to two computer serial ports or two diffe-
rent computers. One output connection is connected to a serial port with the RS232 proto-
col and the other to basic signals, making it possible to use the same cable for different con-

figurations.

9.5.6 Voltage-free contact cable - model 61. Code 279282.000

This cable consists of a male DB15 input connector which is connected to the UPS unit and
an interface box with female DB 15 outputs with RS232 communication and basic signals
(see the section on "Standard COM DB15 Interface in this guide) and a DB9 female output
with 4 power-free signals.
Inside the interface box there are jumpers for configuring the logic of the power free signals.

9.5.7 USB adapter cable

This cable is used to connect the UPS unit's DB15 communication interface to a USB port.
9.5.8 16 A output pin (Only for the 3000VA version)
This pin is used to connect the load to the 16 A output on the 3000VA model without having
to distribute the load among several different connectors.

9.6 Software

The Power Lan+ and Power Rack+ UPS units are compatible with the MopUPS monitoring
software that comes with each unit.
This software makes it possible to configure the UPS unit according to each user's particu-
lar requirements, such as different voltage levels, administrative shutdowns, safe operating
system shutdowns and the recording of events and measurements.
