the device off with the I / O switch to conserve battery life and reset the bark
counter to zero (0).
Important Advice After Initial Use Period:
There is a possibilty of the dog relapsing after a few months of non-usage of
the device. Generally this remains unnoticed by pet owners. It is therefore
highly advisable to use the device every 3-4 months as a way to maintain
progress.
It is also recommended to renew the voice recording at regular intervals with
a new instruction and/ or in a different tone (e.g., assertive instead of calm).
This approach avoids the risk of your dog connecting a well-known voice
recording to a sign of your absence.
3. Safety Precautions, Batteries
- Do not attempt to recharge the batteries! Explosion hazard!
- Keep batteries out of reach of children. Do not throw into flames
do not short-circuit or break open.
- When inserting batteries, pay attention to polarity ('+' and '-').
- Take depleted batteries immediately out of panel and dispose according
to regulations. (Find instructions at your local waste disposal company)
- Do not expose batteries to extreme conditions such as too low or too high
temperature. Failure to comply can result in discharge and leaking of the
batteries. If this happens, remove the batteries immediately to avoid
damage.
- The device is not suitable for use in damp or wet areas.
- Keep device away from children and dogs - this is not a toy.
- Do not pierce speaker openings with an object as this will destroy the
speaker.

Cleaning
Clean only with a soft dust cloth, don't use any liquids. Liquids can penetrate
into the inner casing and may cause damage of electronics and short circuit
at the batteries.

Battery Replacement

If the battery symbol lights up on the upper left of the display, the battery
voltage is too low. The batteries must then be replaced. Open the battery box
cover, remove depleted batteries and insert new batteries as described earlier.
Instructions for disposal
Do not dispose of batteries in domestic waste but dispense at a collection
point for used batteries. In accordance with the law, the used deviced needs
to be disposed of properly at the end of its life cycle. Contact your local waste
disposal company in this matter.

4. Warranty Information

A two-year (2) warranty period from date of purchase. The warranty is
provided against defects in materials and/or workmanship. Please keep
your sales receipt as proof of purchase.
No warranty is given without a valid sales receipt inclusive of purchase date.
During the warranty period you can send defective products to the service
address.
We will return the repaired or a new unit free of charge for approved warranty
cases. Upon detection of misuse or other reason for voiding warranty, custo-
mers will be informed and given an option of pay for repair, return as is, or
destroy at no cost.
Please remember to provide your complete mailing address, phone number
and e-mail address (if available) when sending in a device.
