7  Installing the Electrode Cable (Fig.1toFig.4)
AnelectrodecableisnotincludedintheTransducerdelivery.Itmustbe
orderedseparatelyandcanbeshortenedtomeetindividualrequirements.
Electrodecablessuchas13E129=G300,13E129=G600and13E129=G1000
arecompatible.
1.Liberallyapply633E11SiliconeGreasetotheinnersideoftheTrans-
ducer.Thegreaseinsulatestheconnectoragainsthumidity(Fig.1).
2.Guidetheelectrodecable(withthegraysidefacingupward)asfarasit
willgointotheconnector(Fig.2).Removeanyexcessivegrease.
3.Withthehelpofascrewdriverorsimilartool,presstheconnectorwith
theinsertedelectrodecableasdeeplyaspossibleintotheTransducer
(Fig.3).Theconnectionisnowactive.
Thelinkagecanbedetachedbypullingtheelectrodecableupwardsata
rightangletotheTransducer(Fig.4).Ifthecableistobepressedbackinto
placeagain,cutoffapprox.5mmfromthelooseendoftheelectrodecable
andrepeattheprocedurefromstep1.
