PRECAUTIONS
– When using electrical appliance, basic safety precautions
should always be followed, including the following.
– Read all the instructions carefully before using the appli-
ance for the first time. Failure to observe the instructions
and safety precautions may cause a hazard.
– After unpacking, check the appliance for damage. Do not
use it if you are not sure; instead, contact your retailer.
– Keep the packaging material (cardboard, plastic bags, etc.)
out of the reach of children (danger of asphyxiation or injury).
– This hand mixer is intended for household use only. Do
not use it outdoors.
– Do not place the appliance on or next to hot gas or elec-
tric burners or in a heated oven.
– The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage or
injury arising from inappropriate or improper use. Use the
appliance only for the purpose for which it was designed.
– Do not let children play with the appliance.
– Close supervision is necessary if the appliance is used by
children or persons unfamiliar with it.
– This appliance is not suitable for use by young children or
infirm persons unless closely supervised by a responsible
person who can ensure its safe use.
– Do not touch the appliance with damp or wet hands. Do
not touch the cord or plug with wet hands.
– Do not use any accessory attachment not recommended by
the appliance manufacturer. This may cause fire, electric
shock or injury.
– To protect against risk of electrical shock, never immerse
the motor unit in water. Remember that your hand mixer
is an electrical appliance.
– Clean the appliance using a damp cloth only.
– Set the speed control to «0» and unplug the cord from
the wall outlet to isolate the appliance.
– When unplugging the cord from the wall outlet, grasp
the plug, not the cord.
– Do not let the cord hang over the edge of the table or
counter or touch hot surfaces, including the stove.
– Disconnect the hand mixer from the mains whenever it is
not being used, before attaching or removing accessories
or when cleaning it.
