- Hold the vacuum cleaner with the dust container facing downwards.
- Push the release button, open the dust container in a downward and
forward direction, remove the filter and empty it.
- The filter can be cleaned by slightly tapping it or by using a brush. The filter
can be separated from its holder by simply pulling it out of its guide.
- Should the filter be visibly dirty, it should be thoroughly cleaned with soapy
water; make sure to let it dry completely afterwards.
- The filter holder, dust container and attachment tools may be cleaned the
same way.
Battery pack
This appliance contains a nickel-metal hydride (Ni-Mh) rechargeable battery
pack, which may be removed for replacement or disposal. When replacing the
battery pack, ensure that only an original battery pack is used.
Batteries must be disposed from the unit when the batteries no longer provide
power after charging or when you want to throw away the appliance.
- Loosen the screw and slide out the battery door from the bottom of the
appliance and remove the batteries. To do so, cut or break the wires that
are soldered to the batteries in order to eliminate only the batteries. Please
dispose of your old batteries in an environmentally friendly way.
Be careful not to touch the leaking liquid coming out of the batteries
- Wash your hands after having removed the batteries.
- Make sure that children do not come into contact with the batteries.
- Put the used or leaking accumulator in a bag and bring it to a recycling
park. For more information contact your local authorities.
