Operation modes

3.3.1

"Level control" mode

In the "Level control" mode, refilling is controlled automatically by
pre-set parameters.
3.3.2

"Manual refilling" mode

Manual refilling must be used in special cases, for example initial
filling or determination of the consumption on the water meter.

Outputs and inputs

3.4.1

Outputs

All relay outputs are potential-free changeover contacts. Phase L
must be wired to the appropriate common relay contact to switch
230 V.
3.4.2

Output to the solenoid valve

Either Lp/Np with 230 V applied (max. 4A) or the potential-free
contact 11-14 can be used as contact information for the solenoid
valve.
3.4.3

Relay output z1-z2

These contact can be used to output whether the safety switch-off
has worked. This takes place either as a permanent contact or as
a pulse contact for a signal horn.
3.4.4

Output to Eco VS pump

The 5-pole terminal (GND, rd, br, gr, wh) can be used to output
the possible additional function time control/timer to a VS-pump.
See point 5.3.3 on page 24.
3.4.5

Output to the BADU Eco Drive II (frequency converter)

The 5-pole terminal (GND, rd, br, gr, wh) can be used to output
the possible additional function time control/timer to a FU
Eco Drive II and pump.
See point 5.3.5 on page 25.
3.5

Parameter and battery

The time is buffered with a battery. The service life of the battery
depends on various factors (device without voltage supply,
temperature, etc.), however it should last a minimum of 5 years.
The status of the battery is shown in the display:
= Battery OK
= Replace battery (CR2032)
