Using an MSR Utility for the IM-800
For models with an MSR
The MSR utility can change the settings of the MSR in the
DM-M820. The MSR utility has the following features:
❏ PKMODE32 (MSR/keyboard setting utility for Windows 98/
NT/2000/XP) and PKMODE2 (MSR/keyboard setting utility
for MS-DOS):
It is possible to specify the track to be read, the data to add in
reading, or the beeper sound.
❏ PKLOAD32 (MSR/keyboard auto setting utility for Windows
98/NT/2000/XP) and PKLOAD (MSR/keyboard auto setting
utility for MS-DOS):
It is possible to set the MSR automatically, using a file
containing the MSR setting data.
Power
The power of the DM-M820 is supplied from the DC12V of the
IM-800 or AC Adapter OI-MR01.
Press the power switch to turn the power on or off.
Indicators
LEDs
There are two LEDs: the power LED for the LCD unit and the LED
for the MSR. These LEDs have the following meaning:

* Applies only to models with an MSR unit.
The AC Adapter OI-MR01 has a Power LED. When power is
supplied, the Power LED lights green.

Power is on (during normal operation).
No video input signal detected.
Power is off.
Card reading is successful.
Card reading has failed.
Waiting for card reading or power is off.
