Disconnect the Solar e Power Case from the vehicle's DC socket when the engine is
turned off to prevent discharging the vehicle's battery.

Always remove the DC Charging Adapter from the vehicle's DC socket before starting
the vehicle.
Charging With solar Panels
The Solar e Power Case is supplied with two 20W solar panels and a connecting cable. Plug the
connecting cable into the solar panel connector located on the side of one of the solar panels.
Plug the other end directly into the solar ports on the Solar e Power Case. The solar cables are
color coded for "+" (red) and "−" (black) to match the colors of the Solar Terminals on the Solar
e Power Case. Make sure the red cable is connected to the red Solar Terminal and the black
cable to the black terminal. Reversing these connections could cause damage to the solar char-
ger or prevent the battery from being charged.
