Maintenance and care

 Always unplug your drill before working on it.
 Always keep your drill clean.
 Clean the casing with a dry cloth every time you have used your drill.
Do not use cleaning solvents that may damage the casing.
 We recommend cleaning the vents with compressed air at 3 bar max
after work to prevent dust from accumulating. Wear eye protection
while doing this.
 Take your drill to a qualified technician to have the brush contacts
checked for wear, and to make sure that there is enough lubricant.
Only a qualified technician can change the brushes.
 NOTE: The grease supplied for use on the drill and chisel bits is
not suitable for lubrication the gearbox, but for greasing bits
before you fit them into your drill. Ask a specialist about the right
lubricant to use.
Spare parts, disused tools, environmental protection
Only use original parts and accessories.
If your hammer/chisel has been so heavily used that it has become
worn out and has to be replaced, or you have no further use for it, you
must return the power tool to a central recycling centre for disposal.
Contact your community waste collection service or local authority to
find out where you can hand in your power tool for recycling.
Power tools contain valuable raw materials that can be recycled. You
will contribute to recycling valuable raw materials by handing your tool
in at a central waste disposal centre.
Power tools also contain substances that may be harmful to the
environment and humans if disposed of inappropriately.
The no-go sign with the dustbin means that you must take that
article with the sign to be recycled by a separate waste
collection facility for electrical and electronic equipment.
Ask your BRÜDER MANNESMANN dealer for details.
