Unpacking
Remove the appliance, all accessory
‹
parts and the user manual from the
box.
Remove all packaging materials and
‹
protective foils from the product and
the accessories before using it for the
first time.
NOTE
► Do not remove the rating plate or
any warning signs on the appliance.
► If possible, keep the original packag-
ing during the guarantee period in
order to be able to pack the ap-
pliance properly in the event of a
guarantee claim. Transport damage
will invalidate the guarantee.

Checking the delivery contents

Check for visible signs of damage or

missing items.
Report incomplete or damaged con-
‹
tents to your supplier immediately.

Prior to first use

Clean the appliance and the acces-
‹
sories as described in the section
Cleaning and care (page 22).

Put the shaft cover (9) onto the drive
‹
shaft (8) so that the juice dispenser
(10) fits into the the associated recess
in the drive unit.
Position the filter attachment (2) on
‹
the collecting bowl (3) so that the stud
on the collecting bowl fits in the cor-
responding recess of the filter attach-
ment.
Put the squeezer cone (1) onto the
‹
shaft cover. (9).
Insert the protective cap (6) into the
‹
lever so that the stud on the fits into
the recess on the lever and then press
it down firmly.
Insert the plug into the mains socket.

NOTE
► The appliance has no ON/OFF
switch. The drive motor is switched
on when the squeezer cone/drive
shaft is pressed down.
