Instructions for operation
1 Operating the digital controls - VP-O
This version features the relaxing and revitalizing
Turkish bath function, which can be selected using
a few simple and practical steps.
The keyboard features a red LED which remains
lit when the Turkish bath function is in operation.
The vaporizer unit is drained automatically about
50 minutes after it is switched on; this ensures
that the appliance does not run continuously
should you forget to switch off the vaporizer unit
after using the Turkish bath function.
Press the ON/OFF key to start the Turkish bath
function; a steady jet of steam will be generated,
and can be switched off at any time when the
preferred temperature has been reached, simply
by pressing the ON/OFF key again.
The key marked with the "bell" symbol activates
the emergency alarm. The corresponding red
LED lights and the buzzer fi tted to the box sounds
until the same key is pressed again.
If the alarm key is pressed during the Turkish
Bath function, the cycle is interrupted and the
drain phase is activated.
The alarm buzzer also sounds to indicate a
problem with the vaporizer unit.
This will take place if the Turkish Bath key is
pressed while one of the following situations
exists:
- Failure to reach the correct water level in the
boiler.
- Drain cycle in operation.
- Drain cycle malfunction.
Press the Alarm button to interrupt the acoustic
signal, correct the malfunction (if any) and re-start
the Turkish Bash function.

Descaling the vaporizer unit
In order to keep your Turkish bath in perfect
condition, the boiler of the vaporizer unit should
be de-scaled at intervals of about 6 - 7 hours of
operation (or once yearly, if the Turkish bath is
used infrequently).
De-scaling the boiler is simple: switch off the
appliance; dissolve the contents of one sachet
of citric acid in warm water. When the citric acid
has dissolved, remove the reservoir cap and pour
the solution into the reservoir (see fi gure).
Citric acid is widely available in many stores,
and can be purchased directly from any of our
Service Centres.
After about 8 - 12 hours, drain the vaporizer
unit by pressing the "ON/OFF" key on the digital
keyboard.
After de-scaling, switch the Turkish bath on for
about 10 minutes in order to fl ush the system
and remove any residue.
In hard-water areas, it is advisable to use a
solution of water and vinegar or, alternatively,
one of the de-scaling products commonly used
for steam irons or coffee-makers. Follow the
instructions and concentrations recommended
by the manufacturer of the product used.

3 Orienting and cleaning the jets
To orient the jets in the desired direction and thus
obtain a perfectly personalized massage, simply
turn the nozzle as shown in the fi gure.

any impurities that may affect the operation of

the appliance, place the special tool against the
fi nishing surround of the nozzle and, pressing
inwards (1), turn the tool anti-clockwise (2).

Steam diffuser
F it the steam diffuser/safety outlet by pressing it
onto the nozzle on the wall panel.
The condensation discharge outlet should be
oriented towards the shower tray.
This element may be removed for cleaning.
Care should be taken when using the steam
outlet. Since the steam is at a very high tem-
perature, maintain a safe distance from the
steam outlet.

Routine maintenance

The shower box is built using materials which are
easy to clean and inhibit the build-up of bacteria
on the surface.
It is advisable to clean the appliance regularly, pre-
ferably using the specifi c products for each type of
operation; these products are available from our
authorized dealers and Service Centres.
If you prefer to use other products, the following
recommendations should be followed:
1) Always use a soft cloth; never use abrasive
2) Never use powder detergents. Always use

cleaning products (pads etc.).
good-quality liquid detergents which contain
no alcohol or ammonia.
