Thread the hose barb into the strain relief by hand
until it stops, then use an adjustable wrench to
hold the flat edges of the strain relief while using a
torque wrench with a T10 TORX
crowfoot socket) to tighten the seatpost hose barb to
1.1-2.2 N∙m (10-20 in-lb). Ensure the o-ring is present
on the hose barb.

Hold the hose stationary by hand, then insert the hose
barb assembly, strain relief end first, onto the hose.
Thread the hose barb assembly onto the hose by hand
until it stops, then use a torque wrench with a T10 TORX
socket (or a 7 mm crowfoot socket) to tighten the hose
barb assembly to 0.45-0.56 N∙m (4-5 in-lb).
