2.3 Warning about dangers
The instruction manual warns the users immediately before each step of dangers that may affect
their health. For the different warnings, combined image-text informations are used depending on
the severity of the hazard.
WARNING!
Indicates a potentially hazardous situation. If this is not avoided, death or serious injury may result.
CAUTION!
Indicates a potentially hazardous situation. If this is not avoided, slight or minor injuries can be the
result. This signal word is also used as a warning relating to property damage.
IMPORTANT!
Indicates usage tips and other useful information. It is not a dangerous or harmful situation exists.
3 Functional description
The Release Agent Spray Gun TMK was checked for functionality prior to delivery. The gun is ready
for use. However, if the spray material quantity to suit individual requirements, this is achieved by
pre-or rear screws of the adjusting screw 1820070002.
3.1 Start-up
Material suction hose (MAFA-Art. 060241 or 06024100) connect to LIQ. If the Spray product is
supplied to standing under pressure, this pressure should be about 0.6 bar.
Connect the compressed air hose to AIR.
Set the compressed air supply through a filter regulator (For example MAFA 16060301 or 16060302
or 16060303) in cash to 5-6. This value has proven to be a good balance.
Press trigger 050211. When lever operation blows to the tactile feedback only air (1. step). After a
noticeable pressure point is reached and the spray material is released (2. step). Releasing the lever
results in the reverse sequence.
Warning
Solvents and cleaning agents from the group of
chlorinated hydrocarbons may be used under any
circumstances, for example because 1,1,1
trichloromethane or methylene chloride can react
explosively with aluminum or galvanized parts.

The spray amount quantity can be adapted to individual
requirements by turning the adjusting screw
