Fastening the installation brackets
Each cooker top is provided with an
•
installation kit including brackets and
screws for fastening the top to
fixture panels.
Turn the cooker top upside down and
•
fasten the brackets "A" which can be
connected to cooker in two different
position depending on fixture panel
thickness as shown in figure 2 or 4
to the appropriate screw holes,
without tightening the screws "B" for
the moment.
Fastening the cooker top
•
Spread the sealing material "C" out
along the fixture hole, making sure
that the junctions overlap at the
corners.
Insert the cooker top into the hole
•
and position it correctly. (Fig 1)
Adjust the position of the brackets
•
"A" and tighten screws "B" to fix the
cooker top firmly in position (Fig 2-
4)
•
Carefully trim away the excess
sealing material from around the hob.
Installation in kitchen cabinet with
door (Figure 5)
The distance between the bottom of the
hob and the fixture surface should be at
least 60mm. If this space cannot be
achieved, it is recommended that at
least a 30mm clearance be left between
the cooker bottom and the fixture
surface.
