Activating the timer
1
Press and hold the TIMER/SLEEP button for 2 or
more seconds.
Press the TIMER button, when using the remote
control unit.
2 Press the POWER button to turn the unit off.
The unit will turn on at the specified time every day.
For the timer to start playback of a CD, press the
FUNCTION button to select "CD", insert a disc and
adjust the volume before turning the unit off.
For the timer to start the radio, tune in a station and
adjust the volume before turning the unit off.
Don't forget to turn the unit off, or the timer won't
work.
< The stop time cannot be set. When the timer
playback has been finished, press the POWER
switch to turn the unit off.
< If the unit is disconnected from the power supply for
more than 3 minutes, the clock and timer settings
will be reset.

A To cancel the timer mode
Press and hold the TIMER/SLEEP button for 2 or
more seconds.
The "TIMER" indicator disappears from the display.
Press the TIMER button, when using the remote
control unit.
B How to use the snooze function
After the on time is reached, press the SNOOZE
button and the unit will turn off for 5 minutes then
turn on again.
The "SNOOZE" indicator appears on the display
while snooze function is activated.
You can use this function repeatedly.
