8.3.2. For PLUS + TS models

This model is provided with a vapour spout with
temperature probe. It is used to automatically heat
liquids (e.g. milk). Pressing the corresponding key,
the vapour supply electro-valve is activated until the
temperature programme is reached or until manual
interruption of supply.
To heat liquids, proceed as follows:
● Immerse the vapour spout with probe (TS device)
in the liquid to be heated.
● Press key 6 on the pushbutton panel beforehand
(see technical programming), the vapour will start
to come out, heating the liquid by conduction until
the programmed temperature is reached. The
word steam is displayed. At this stage it is possi-
ble to interrupt the function by pressing the same
key or continuing the output of steam at a higher
temperature than programmed by keeping the key
pressed.
N.B.: As the steam spout is an optional, the
ON key and relative pushbutton panel are to
be set in technical level programming.

8.4. Preparing tea, camomile, etc.

● Place the jug under the hot water spout 4 (Fig.3)
and use the delivery control according to the mo-
del (Fig. 7). When the desired quantity has been
obtained, close the tap (dispensing is automatically
halted according to the quantity set for models
GREEN ME).
During the delivery of hot water electronically do-
sed, delivery can be interrupted by pressing button
6 (Fig. 7).
To adjust the doses, see Paragraph 9.
● Add the desired product.
When purified water is used, these beverages often
assume a darker colour. Should the user prefer
a lighter coloured drink, draw fresh water from an
ordinary tap and proceed with the heating phase as
described in point 8.2.

9. PROGRAMMING

9.1. User programming

9.1.1. For ME models

The doses of coffee and hot water dispensed can
be adjusted on the electronically controlled models.
● Place the filter-holder with the ground coffee under
the unit to be programmed and the cup (or cups)
under the corresponding spouts;
● Keep the E key (Fig. 7) of the keyboard located
onto the first group on the left hand side pressed for
5 seconds. The flashing leds of the E keys indicate
the enabling of the programming phase.
● Within 5 seconds press the appropriate key (A-
B-C-D) and visually check the delivery; when the
quantity delivered corresponds to the desired
amount, press the same key again; delivery cea-
ses and the volume of the dose is automatically
memorized.
● Carry out any other adjustment with the same
procedure which will also apply for hot water di-
spensing buttons (2 different doses) Fig.7.
Do not make adjustments to units that do not have
a filter-holder with coffee and correspon-ding
cups.
The adjustment made to the first unit on the
left also applies to the other units. If you
wish to obtain different doses from the other units,
the unit on the left must first be adjusted, followed
step-by-step by the others.
At the end of the programming phase wait at least 5
seconds before beginning the selections.
The data memorised is permanently stored within
the memory even in the case of complete absence
of electric power.

9.1.2 For PLUS - PLUS+TS models

Dose programming : for calibration distribution of
coffee doses and of hot water, refer to the operations
described previously for ME models (9.1. 1).
Steam temperature programming (Mod. PLUS+TS)
– temperature programming of the steam spout with
probe takes place by simulation: the desired tempe-
rature is set in the programming phase, utilising an
external temperature probe and once this is set the
liquid will be heated until the programmed tempera-
ture is reached.
For programming, proceed as follows:
● Immerse the steam spout with probe in the liquid to
be heated. Insert a temperature probe with visual
display in the liquid.
● Enter dose programming keeping key E pressed
(Fig. 7) on the pushbutton panel of the first unit on
the left for 5 seconds. E LEDs flashing indicates
programming activation.
