2.
Repeat step 1 till all wanted zones are choosen.
3.
When you have correctly selected the zones to be assigned to an RF thermostat, go to the
thermostat and activate its RF initialization (see RF user manual)
4.
The LED of the activated zone/s should go out. The LED of the next, not activated zone can blink
nevertheless. During the thermostat RF transmission you can see on the display 2 lines of
squares running. (see Fig. 2)
5.
If the RF thermostat has been assigned correctly to the zone/s, deactivate the RF initialization of
the thermostat ( switch it off). During the thermostat RF transmission you can see on the display 1
line of squares running. (see Fig. 3)
If you don't see any squares running, during step 4 or 5, the RF receiver could not identify a RF

signal. Check if the antenna has been connected correctly and / or repeat the steps 1 – 5.
7.
Repeat the Step 1 to 6 to assign the others thermostats to the remaining zones.
8.
To exit and save the configuration of the rf init mode and come back to the main menu press
key during 5 seconds.
You can now perform a radio range verification:
1.
Place your RF thermostat in the room where you need to regulate the temperature.
2.
Close the door and come back to the TIMER RF.
3.
Check if the green LED, of the assigned zone, blinks at each radio transmission. A transmission
happens every 3 minutes.
4.
If the LED, of the assigned zone, blinks 4 times a second the installation is correct.
5.
If the LED blinks irregulary, you are at the range limit. Install the thermostat closer to the receiver.
If the LED doesn't blink at all within 5 min, you are out of range. In this case the antenna has to be

installed vertical. It might be essential to install the antenna closer to the thermostat. It some cas-
es it helps to install the antenna closer out of the metal distribution box.
As an alternative you can use the alarm for a missing radio transmission signal (see
INSTALLATION PARAMETERS MENU, F.1). If the alarm is activated, let installation run for mini-
mum 30 min. If there is no alarm signal the installation is correct..
