• The product is intended for private, non-commercial
use only.
• Protect the product from dirt, moisture and overheating,
and only use it in a dry environment.
• Do not use the product in the immediate vicinity of
heaters or other heat sources or in direct sunlight.
• Do not use the product in moist environments and avoid
splashes.
• Do not drop the product and do not expose it to any
major shocks.
• This product and the measurements it displays are
intended for use in the home. The product's precision
and accuracy are not absolute and do not satisfy the
requirements needed and/or prescribed in professional
applications.
• This product and its measured values may not be used for
professional applications or to inform the public.
• Keep the packaging material out of the reach of children
due to the risk of suffocation.
3. Getting Started
On delivery, the indicator dial of the thermometer is not
exactly calibrated, and thus the temperature values shown
may deviate from the actual values.
• Before installing the thermometer, carefully set the gray
plastic indicator on the rear to the current temperature at
the place of installation.
• Use another thermometer to determine the exact
temperature at the place of installation.
4. Installation
• Install the product in an indoor or outdoor place where it
is protected from drafts and direct sunlight.
• Install the product only on straight, vertical walls.
• Use installation materials suited to the task.
Warning
Before mounting, check that the wall you have chosen
is suitable for the weight to be mounted. Also make
sure that there are no electric, water, gas or other lines
running through the wall at the mounting site.

5. Operation
5.1 Setting the indicator followers for min./max.
temperature
• Use the two knobs on the front to set the indicator
followers so that they are very close to or barely touching
the temperature indicator.
• Be careful not to move the temperature indicator with the
indicator followers.
Note – Min./max. temperature display
• The blue knob is used to set the blue indicator
follower, which displays the maximum temperature
value. This indicator stays at the highest temperature
value reached by the temperate indicator.
• The red knob is used to set the red indicator follower,
which displays the minimum temperature value.
This indicator stays at the lowest temperature value
reached by the temperate indicator.
5.2 Hygrometer and good indoor climate
• Use the hygrometer to control the temperature and
humidity of the air indoors. Air that is too warm or too dry
can dry out the skin, irritate one's respiratory passages,
and negatively affect one's wellbeing.
• Other things that can be sensitive to the ambient
temperature and humidity include high-quality furniture,
musical instruments, books, and plants.
Note – good indoor climate values
• In the residence: approx. 20°C at 50–70% humidity
• Sleeping chambers: approx. 18°C at 50–70%
humidity
• Bathrooms: approx. 23°C at 50–70% humidity
6. Care and Maintenance
Only clean this product with a slightly moist, lint-free cloth,
and do not use aggressive cleaning agents. Make sure that
water does not get into the product.
