CARE OF YOUR APPLIANCE

•Before carrying out any maintenance on the
device, always unplug it from the power
mains making sure that the product has coo-
led down before proceeding.
• After using the brushes, we recommend let-
ting the bristles cool down in their natural
position, in order to avoid any deformation.
• To clean the body of the appliance, simply
use a moist cloth.
• Clean accessories by rinsing them in run-
ning water.

CLEANING THE BOILER

(extraordinary maintenance)

Risk of scalding!
WARNING: Risk of scalding! When accessing
the boiler (removing the cap, filling up,
emptying), ensure that the appliance is swit-
ched off at the power switch and disconnec-
ted from the mains for at least two hours.
• To maintain optimum performance, clean
the boiler every 10/20 uses depending on
the amount of limestone in the water.
• Disconnect the appliance and let it cool
down for at least 2 hours, if it has been
used.
• Empty the water tank to prevent leakage.
• Turn the appliance upside down and re-
move the boiler cap protection (Fig. 7).
• With a flat head screwdriver unscrew the
boiler cap (Fig.8).
• Use the funnel (14) to pour 0,25l of cold
water into the boiler.
CAUTION: do not pour more than the speci-
fied amount of water into the boiler. Pour wa-
ter slowly, being careful not to let it overflow,
as this could damage the appliance.
• Rinse out the boiler and pour the water
away into the sink or into a container for
collecting dirty water.
• If the water is very dirty, repeat the opera-
tion until it is clean.
• Screw the boiler cap back on, making sure
that the gasket is also present and that it is
screwed on correctly.
• Replace the protection of the boiler cap.
• When you want to use the appliance again:
- refill the water tank
- close the cap
- turn the appliance back
