enclosed thoroughly for your own safety before using the appliance for the
first time.
If you are giving this appliance to a third party, please always include these
operating instructions.
Intended use
The hot glue gun is for gluing clean, dry and grease-free materials with hot melted glue. For
example, gluing paper, cardboard, wood, leather, textiles, foam, ceramics, porcelain, metal,
glass, stone and plastic (apart from PE, PP, PTFE and soft PVC) together.
Safety guidelines
• Read all safety information and instructions. Failure to adhere to the safety information
can cause electric shock, burns and/or serious injury.
• The glue gun and charger are not intended for use by children and persons with
restricted physical, sensory or mental abilities, or insufficient experience and
knowledge.
• This glue gun and charger can be used by children from 8 years of age and persons
with restricted physical, sensory or mental abilities or insufficient experience if they
are supervised by a person responsible for their safety or if they have been instructed
in the safe handling of the glue gun and charger and understand the hazards related
to this. Otherwise, there is a risk of misuse and injuries.
• Supervise children. This ensures that children do not play with the glue gun or charger.
• Children should not clean or maintain the glue gun or charger without supervision.
• Do not allow persons to use the glue gun if they are not familiar with it or have not
read the instructions.
• Check the glue gun, charger, cable and plug before each use. If you notice any damage,
the glue gun and charger must not be used.
• Do not open the glue gun or charger yourself and only have them repaired by
qualified specialists and only with original replacement parts. Damaged glue guns,
chargers, cables and plugs increase the risk of electric shock.
• Do not leave the glue gun unattended when switched on.
• Protect the glue gun from heat, permanent sunlight, fire, water and moisture. There is
a risk of explosion.
• Do not touch the hot nozzle and the silicone cap. There is a risk of burning.
• Only charge the glue gun with the charger included. Otherwise there is a risk of fire.
• Keep the charger socket on the glue gun and the charger plug away from all metal
objects which could make a connection from one contact to another. A short circuit
between the contacts may result in burns or fire.
• Only allow qualified specialists to repair the glue gun and charger and only have them
repaired with original replacement parts. This ensures that you retain the safety of the
product.
