CHAPTER 3
INSTALLATION (fig. 2 e 3)
It is essential to install a check valve or foot valve on the suction side of the pump in case of positive suction head installation.
VSD must be installed in a vertical position (Fig. 2), connecting the inlet (male thread G1 1/4") directly to the output of the pump and the
outlet (male thread G1 1/4") to the water supply.
CHAPTER 4
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
WARNINGS:
•
Before any work on the device, disconnect the power supply. Intervene after the elapse of 2 minutes from disconnection to
prevent possible electric shock.
•
Make sure the power supply cannot be accidentally restored.
•
Ensure that the voltage and frequency specified on the rating plate match those of the mains supply available.
•
Check that the current absorbed by the electric pump is compatible with the maximum current that can be supplied by the
device
•
Electrical connection must be performed according to the local regulations in force.
•
The electrical conductors must in particular be protected from high temperatures, vibrations and bumps that could cause
mechanical or chemical damage.
•
The power supply line must be equipped with a short-circuit protection device, a high-sensitivity residual current device RCD
(30mA class A or AC) and secured with a 16A circuit breaker for VSD EASY 9M/M and 20A for VSD EASY 6M/T and 10M/T.
•
The power supply line must be equipped with an external mains switch with a contact opening distance according to the
standard requirements in force.
•
Incorrect connections can irrevocably damage the electronic circuit.
•
It is recommended to use a separate power line, in order to avoid possible electromagnetic interference that can create
unwanted alterations on the electro-domestic appliances of the installation.
•
If electromagnetic disturbances occur it is advisable to apply a line and/or output filter.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
(Fig.1)
For installation use the cables supplied. The cables must only be replaced by qualified personnel.
It is recommended to use a separate power line, in order to avoid possible electromagnetic interference that can create unwanted
alterations on the electro-domestic appliances of the installation.
