1) Clean all parts of the appliance as described in the section entitled "Cleaning
and care".
2) Unwind the cable from around the cable retainer 5 and guide it through the
recess on the edge.
3) Insert the plug into a mains power socket.
The appliance is now ready for use.
Boiling eggs
1) Pierce a hole in the top or bottom of the eggs using the egg piercer 7. This
allows the air inside the egg to dissipate as it expands during boiling. This
prevents the shell from bursting open.
2) Place the eggs into the egg tray 2 with the pierced end facing upwards.
3) Fill the measuring cup 6 with the required amount of water. The amount of
water depends on the number of eggs and the required hardness. Use the
scale and symbols on the measuring cup 6 for orientation:
