· Do not charge the batteries in the rain or wet places.
Remove and disconnect the battery before
repairing, cleaning or removing material from
the hedge cutter.
· Do not throw the batteries to the household garbage,
into fire or containers that are unsuitable even
if you think that it does not work anymore or
may not be charged well; request local
information on waste disposal sot to become
informed on how you can dispose of the
battery.
· Incorrect use of the battery may increase the hazard of
fire or chemical burns. Do not perforate, burn or
disassemble the battery or expose it to
temperatures over 40oC. Keep the battery away
from children. Handle damaged or leaking
batteries with utmost care. Damaged batteries
may drip and cause personal injuries or
material damages.
Notice: Use only the adequate battery type taking into
account the size thereof. Use of incompatible batteries
may increase fire or explosion hazard. Replace the
battery only by batteries bought from the STAYER
supplier.
3.2. PART 2 · Description of the machine (Fig. 2)
CAUTION.

Before adjusting or testing the tool, always make
sure that it is switched off and that the battery has
been removed.

Attention: Remove the battery from the machine before
changing the blades or adjustment tool.
1. Press clips (1.1) of the battery (2.6) and pull the battery
(2.6) out of the tool Fig. A).
2. Push the clip at the lower portion of the gearbox cover
(2.8) and pull the mark along the direction, and separate
it from the apparatus (Fig. B). Battery with release clips
at both sides.

You can use 3 types of tools: hedge cutter (2.11),
pruning saw (2.10) and the shears (2.9). When
changing the blades, you must check that the polygonal
sides of the tool fit within the device and, thereafter,
press the gearbox cover (2.8) to make sure that the clip
firmly locks the device. (Fig. C).
4. Insert the battery into its position (2.6). (Fig. D).
Installation/extraction of the hedge cutter blades
CAUTION.
·
Before installing or extracting the cutter blades,

always make sure that the tool is switched off and
that the battery pack has been extracted.
·
When replacing the cutter blades, always wear
gloves before extracting the blade cover so that
your hands and face do not enter into contact with
the blade. Otherwise, you may suffer personal
injuries.
·
Do not clean grease from the gears or crankshaft.
Otherwise, you may damage the machine.
Notice. The gearbox cover (2.8) must be inserted before
positioning the battery, and is withdrawn after the
battery has been pulled out. Before cutting with the
hedge cutter, take into account that you must cut
branches with diameters larger than 8 mm using the
pruning tool. Cut the side of the lower portions and from
the side near to the measurement of another status.
3.3. PART 3 · Description of the extendable handle
(Fig. 3)
3.1 .ON/OFF trigger.
3.2 .Safety switch.
3.3 .ON/OFF switch.
3.4 .Lock button.
3.5 .Battery location.
3.6 .Handle.
3.7 .Angle adjustment grid.
3.8 .Quick lock/extension block knob.
3.9 .Extension bar.

Attention: Extract the battery from the device before
changing the blades or adjustment tool.
1. Before using the extension handle (3.9), completely
insert the plug into the other end (3.11) in the
compartment of the device, in accordance with the
position of the notch, with the side of the notch turned
downwards, until it fits in its place. Insert the battery into
its respective position (3.5). Push the lock button (3.4) at
the releasing device. Pull out the plug from the end
(3.11) of the lower portion of the extension post (3.9).

Position the rotating joint (3.10) at the head of the
extension post, to adjust the knob (3.8) by 180o. When
placed in a suitable position, fix the hinge (3.10) before
working. (Fig. E)
3. Loosen the "quick lock" extension handle (3.8) as shown
subsequently; adjust the extension bar (3.9) to a desired
working length. Tighten the "quick lock" (3.8) again
before working. (Fig. F)
4. At the middle of the entire extension arm, there is a
handle (3.6). Loosen the adjust knobs (3.7) at both of its
sides, adjust the desired angle, tighten knobs (3.7)
again before working. (Fig. G)
5. At the grip you will find 2 sets of switches which you will
have to use for both the hedge cutter and the lawn
trimmer. You must press the safety button (3.2) and
(3.4), thereafter, press switch (3.1) (3.3) whilst working.
