2. Never fit this child car seat into a front seat
equipped with frontal airbag. Fit the child car
seat into the front seat only if the frontal air-
bag has been deactivated: check with the car
manufacturer, or in the car instructions manu-
al, whether the airbag can be deactivated.
If the Synthesis model features the mini in-
sert:
WARNING! To ensure maximum safety to
your child, never use the mini insert with chil-
dren of over 6 Kg of weight.
• The child car seat has a mini insert to ensure
maximum protection and comfort to children
from birth up to 6 Kg of weight.
Before fitting the mini insert, check that the
safety harness is inserted into the lowest hole:
this is the only position allowed for using the
child car seat with this accessory.
CAR SEAT AND SAFETY BELT
REQUIREMENTS
The child car seat may be fitted to the front pas-
senger seat or any rear seat, but with the follow-
ing restrictions. The child car seat must:
- be fitted in a front-facing position (diag.1)
- be fitted with a 3-point static or 3-point retrac-
tor safety belt (diag.2A).
CAUTION! Never fit the child car seat into a car
seat if it is only equipped with a lap belt (diag.
2B).
HOW TO ADJUST THE SAFETY HARNESS
WARNING! The safety harness must always be
adjusted to the size of the child's body.
Before fitting the child car seat into the car, it is
necessary to adjust the height of the child's safety
harness.
The correct position of safety harness is slightly
below the child's shoulders (diag. 3). The height
can be adjusted to 3 positions (diag. 4).
If the Synthesis model features a mini insert:
Before fitting the mini insert, check that the belts
are inserted into the hole located in the lowest
position: this is the only position allowed for using
this accessory.
