14. Never wrap the power cord around the
appliance. Wrapping the power cord around
the appliance can damage the appliance -
danger due to electric shock!
15. Do not use an extension cord to operate the
appliance.
16. As additional protection, we recommend
installation of a residual current device
(RCD/FI) with a tripping characteristic of
not more than 30 mA in the bathroom power
circuit. Consult with your electrician.
17. The appliance is intended for household
use only; it is not designed for commercial
requirements.
18. Do not use the appliance outdoors.
19. During operation, leave sufficient space
between the appliance and walls and other
flammable objects such as curtains.
20. Do not operate the appliance in the vicinity
of heat sources.
21. For safety reasons do not use the appliance
to style artificial hair.
22. Keep the appliance or parts of the appliance
away from your face and ears to avoid burns.
23. Due to danger of explosion do not use any
hair sprays as long as the appliance is in
operation or if the appliance is still hot.
24. The appliance is very hot during and after
use, please handle it carefully to avoid
burns.
25. Switch off the appliance before you set it
down.
26. Before moving or cleaning the appliance
after use, always switch off and unplug the
appliance and allow it to cool.
27. Do not unplug the plug if your hands are wet
- danger due to electric shock!
28. As long as the plug is in the electrical
outlet, even if appliance is switched off, the
appliance is a hazard in the vicinity of water.
29. Do not insert any objects into the appliance,
due to the ensuring damage, there is danger
of electric shock.
