Work planning
It is an absolute must to pay attention to the following:
1. The hardware is normally fitted to the inside of the furniture side panel. A detachable inside panel serves the purpose
of hiding away the hardware. The cabinet is to be designed in such a way that the hardware is accessible at all times. If
there is no furniture side panel, the hardware may be fitted to the inside, see page 4, detail H.
2. Decide on the design variant according to the details outlined on pages 3 and 4.
3. When changing a detail as against the installation drawing, the axial dimensions A, B and C as well as the hardware
mounting and retraction dimensions remain unchanged. A full-scale drawing of the modified detail must be made with
the door in open and closed position or enlarge the detail in question.
4. Make the following checks:
- Cabinet depth (T) and door retraction travel (E); see table on page 2.
- Dimension data of upright guide track in top and bottom, see page 4, details E and G.
- Front end of track (5 mm from the hinge axis C to the front), see page 4, detail F.
- Measures of the guide track grooved into the door, see page 4, detail G.
- Take care that door and guide track unlatch at the rear and at the bottom so that the door can engage in the
bottom-mounted guide when being opened. See page 4, detail K.
- Important: The groove in the door must be straight through.
5. Hardware retraction loss is 55 mm in cabinet depth.
Assembly procedure
o Prior to cabinet assembly groove guide track (8) into top and bottom.
Please note: The guide track side walls are not equally thick. On top glue* the 3 mm side wall towards the inside, at the
bottom towards the outside, see page 4, details E and G.
o Recess door guide (9) in the bottom and screw into place, see detail I.
o Press-fit rubber stopper (11) in guide track and support it at the rear by means of a wooden spacer, see detail F.
o Groove bottom of door. Please note: Do not draw out in front. Glue* in guide track (10).
o In order to permit the panel to pivot over door guide, door and guide track must be unlatched; see page 4, detail K.
o Screw top-end side-wall profile (5a) into place on side wall or on the inside, depending on the design and push in the
roller track.
o Remove hinge pins from the hinges (2).
o Mortise hinge leaf on inside of door and screw it down. Push back guide plates (12) before cutting upright (1) to length.
o Upright length = Cabinet inside dimension H less 6 mm.
o Loosen hinge screws in upright.
o Fit the hinge leaves (2) lying loosely in the upright together with those of the door.
o Align upright (1) evenly along length of door.
o Retighten upright hinge leaves (2).
o Remove hinge pins.
o Separate door from upright.
o Introduce bottom pantograph bearings (4) into dovetail at the rear.
o Introduce pantograph wheels into roller track (5) simultaneously in front and at the rear.
o Adjust upright (1) vertically and tighten hexagon socket-head screws at the rear-end pantograph bearing (4).
o Introduce guide plates (12) into upright guide track (8) on top and at the bottom, tighten screws.
o The guide plates (12) must have 2 to 3 mm clearance in depth.
o Suspend door.
o Adjust door clearance vertically. Loosen bottom front-end pantograph bearing (4), adjust door clearance by means of
the vertical adjustment screw (6) and retighten screws.
o Secure retraction spring (7) to side or rear panel and hook it onto the pantograph bolt.
