If you wish to modify the settings and have selected set-up mode, now press
the shutter release for 3 seconds. This takes you to the set-up menu. You can
choose from video, photo, effect and general set-up.
You navigate within the set-up menu by pressing the main switch and con-
firming by pressing the shutter release.

4. Adjusting settings

4.1 Video set-up
The screen view shows you the symbol for the video function in the top left
corner of the set-up menu.
Use the main switch to navigate within the video settings. Confirm by press-
ing briefly on the shutter release. The respective higher menu level is offered
each time you have clicked with the main switch through the menu points.
At the end, the return to start is offered and then each menu point is shown
again from the beginning.
In the following we give an overview of the selection options:
42
Mode
Here you have the choice between manual, infinite loop, auto stop and time
lapse. Using auto stop lets you determine the time at which the recording
should stop. Time lapse gives you the choice of various intervals between
individual recordings. If the time lapse function in the video set-up is se-
lected, the individual recordings will be directly saved as MPEG video clips.
Resolution (film size)
Select the required resolution here. A higher resolution gives sharper, more
detailed images, but needs more storage space.
Visual field / zoom
Here you have the possibility of determining the camera's visual field. The
selection points are super wide angle, wide angle, normal and narrow visual
field (tele).
Video quality
Here you can select a variety of compression ratios and image qualities. The
section comprises extra fine, fine and normal.
Digital image stabilisation (DIS)
The digital image stabilisation can be adjusted or switched off here.
