4. Installing the Module (RJ12/MU/IR-Link)
Described as an example for the TV set Art 32 LED
The following description applies for the TV set: Art 37/40/46 LED, Xelos 32/40 LED, Connect 32/40 LED.

Avoid damage from electrostatic charging.
Observe the rules for handling MOS components.
Procedure
The following are required as a tool:
Screwdriver Torx T10, Screwdriver Torx T20
Pre-mounting the module (RJ12/MU/IR-Link)
bracket. Turn the screws in (Figure 6, arrows a1/a2: M3x8, arrow b: M3x5). You need a Torx T10 screwdriver for this.
Glue a contact foam on the bracket of the module as shown in Figure 7. This prevents potential faults.
Before bonding the contact foam, remove the protective foil on it.
Installing the pre-mounted module (RJ12/MU/IR-Link) in the TV set
The arrow in Figure 8 indicates the installation location of the module.
Take the pre-mounted module and install it in the TV set as shown in Figure 9.
Ensure that the module snaps into the bracket and the screw holes match.
Use two screws for fastening. Turn the screws in (Figure 9, arrows a3/a4: M3x8).
Connect the connecting cable, if not done already, to the pin base of the module (Figure 9).
Figure 10 shows the cable position in the TV set. Place the cable at the top behind the cover and guide it up to the pin base
(Figure 10, arrow S) through the cable clips (Figure 10, arrows K).
Connect the connecting cable to the corresponding pin base in the TV set (Figure 10, arrow S).
The installation of the module (RJ12/MU/IR-Link) is now complete.
Remove the plastic cover (Figure 11, arrow) before re-inserting the rear panel.
Use a suitable tool for this purpose (e.g. cable cutter).
in the screw (Figure 12, arrow c: M4x10). You need a T20 screwdriver for this.
Connect the connecting cables and replace the connection cover on the TV set.
Finally, carry out a function and safety check.
