Connecting the unit to a DMX control unit
E
• Remove the screws from the DMX box and take off the two cover caps.
• Check both ends of the DMX cable: Are the seals in place and undamaged? Replace the seals if necessary.
• Insert the plug of the DMX cable into the socket for the DMX input signal (WECS). Plug the cable bushing into the
unit. Use two screws each to secure the connection. Ensure correct seating of the seal in the connector!
Connecting additional units to the DMX controller (WECS)
• Provide additional DMX cables and check before use: Are the seals in place in the cable connectors and are they
clean and undamaged? Replace the seals if necessary.
• Remove the two screws and take off the cover cap.
• Insert the connector of the DMX cable into the socket of the already connected unit for the DMX output signal (DMX-
OUT) and secure with the two screws. Insert the other connector of this DMX cable into the socket for the DMX in-
put signal (DMX-IN) of the next unit. Ensure correct seating of the seal in the connector!
• Ensure that a terminator is plugged into the the last unit of the DMX connection chain.
The maximum number of additional units depends on the number of DMX channels required by the unit to be connec-
ted, and the addresses that are to be assigned to these channels.
Connecting the unit to the power supply
