4.5 Lubricating the cutters

4.6 Switching off
Switch the clippers off by pressing the button (Figure 1, D). The built-in "On"
indicator light goes out.
Positioning the comb attachment:
grasp the comb attachment (B) by its
sides and clip it into the slots (A).
When
the
comb
correctly fixed, it is immobilized.
Then adjust the cutting height (Figure
1, B).
Removing the comb attachment:
grasp it by the sides and pull it
backwards.
After 30 minutes of use, it is essential
to lubricate the cutter blades.
To switch the clippers off, press the
button (Figure 1, D); the built-in red
indicator light goes out.
Set the adjustment knob to the 1.9
mm position (Figure 4, ref. C).
Detach the blades by pressing on the
spot shown by the arrow with your
thumb.
Apply 1 or 2 drops of lubricating oil on
the 5 points shown opposite. Use only
the oil supplied.
Reinsert the blades, taking care to fit
the lug in its slot first.
