FASTENER SELECTION

Only fasteners shown in the table below can be driven with this tool.
WARNING
Be sure to use only genuine PORTA-NAILS Staples for the 472A . The use of any other fasteners can result in tool
malfunction and/or fastener breakdown, leading to serious injury .
DIMENSIONS OF STAPLES
The 472A Pneumatic Floor Stapler, with the standard shoe, drives 1-1/2" and the 2" 15-1/2 Ga staples into the tongue
and groove flooring at a 45 degree angle . The orientation of the fastener is as depicted above . To convert from 3/4"
flooring to 1/2" flooring simply (loosen and remove shoe pad screws x3 ) and reverse the shoe pad of the stapler shoe .
