6– OPEN MODE SELECTION
The touchless switch can act as an external key switch, or
as an internal detector or as an external detector.
The behaviour of the unit is adjusted in a different manner
depending upon the drive connection method.
If the unit is connected to the drive by a relay, the open
mode selection is made by means of the wiring showed on
figures 5.2 and 5.3.
If the unit is connected to the drive by means of the
manusa bus, the open mode selection is made by adjusting
the microswitch S1. as follows:

6.1 External key mode

The touchless switch opens the door, regardless of its
operating mode.

6.2 Internal detector mode

The touchless switch opens the door only if the door is in
automatic mode or in exit mode.

6.3 External detector mode

The touchless switch opens the door only if the door is in
automatic mode.

7– DETECTION DISTANCE ADJUSTMENT
The maximum detection distance can be adjusted from
5cm to 35cm (approximately).
To adjust the maximum detection distance follow the next
steps:
1. Press the calibration button.
2. The blue LED will blink.
3. Place your hand at the desired maximum detection
distance
4. Wait until the blue LED stops blinking.
This procedure can be repeated if a new distance is
required.
