Multifunctional Halogen Oven Use instructions

FIRST USE

Before using the oven for the first time, wash thoroughly the glass container, racks, and tongs in hot
soapy water. Put 5 cm of water in the glass container, place the lid on it and plug the oven into a
socket. Operate the oven at the maximum temperature for 15 minutes to eliminate "that new smell"
and smoke.

CAUTION : Ensure the lid is properly placed on the container before each use in order to avoid heat
dispersion, which can lengthen cooking time.
1. Place the low or high cooking rack into the glass container and put the food to be cooked inside
(leave at least 7,5 cm of distance between food and lid).
2. Place the lid on top of the glass container and plug the oven into a socket.
3. Gently pull the safety device toward your right and push down the handle.
4. Set the desired cooking time by using the timer. The timer indicator will glow in red and the oven
will start to operate.
5. Set the desired cooking temperature by using the thermostat. The thermostat indicator will turn
on and will glow in red colour till the set temperature is reached.
6. Once the set cooking time has passed, the oven will automatically turn off.
NOTE : It is possible to stop cooking process at any time by lifting up the handle. Push down the
handle again to continue cooking process.
CAUTION : Always lift up the handle and unplug the appliance from the mains, before removing the
lid form the glass container.
It is possible to increase the height of the glass container by using the extension ring. Place it on the
top of the glass bowl as indicated on figure 2
CLEANING
Clean the oven after each use.
Glass container:
1. Put approximately 5 cm of water into the glass bowl with some drops of washing-up liquid.
2. Place used cooking racks inside the glass bowl.
3. Place the lid on the top of the glass bowl and plug the oven into a socket.
4. Set the thermostat to 200°C and select an operating time of 15 minutes by using the timer knob.
5. When the set operating time has passed, unplug the appliance and let the oven cool down.
6. Remove the lid and rinse the glass bowl under running water. Remove possible deposits by using
a slightly abrasive cloth.
