WARNING AND CAUTIONS
1. The heater uses 230VAC/50Hz, please check the household voltage to ensure that it
matches this specification before operating the heater.
2. Do not put the electric heater directly under the power socket to be used.
3. Do not allow children or persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities to use the
heater unless they have been given instruction by a person who is responsible for their safety.
4. Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
5. Do not use the heater with wet hands. Danger to life!
6. Do not use the heater in a flammable or combustible environment.
7.
Do not cover the heater when it is in use.
8. Do not allow children to use the heater if no one else is present.
9. The heater is for indoor or outdoor use.
10. Do not run the power cable under carpet. Do not cover the cable with rugs, runners or similar
coverings. Arrange the cable so that it is away from traffic areas and will not be tripped over.
11. Do not insert or allow any object into the vents or exhaust vents as it may lead to electric
shock, fire or damage to the heater.
12. Before moving the heater, make sure the plug has been pulled from the power socket; hold the
handle of the heater when moving it.
13. There must be at least 1.5m clearance between the heater and flammable objects (e.g. curtains),
walls and other structures.
14. Immediately stop using the heater if the plug or cable is damaged. If the heater fails or is damaged
in any way, do not open up the heater yourself. Take it to the manufacturer or other qualified
personnel for maintenance.
15. Operate the heater only as described in the instructions. Any non-recommended use may cause
fire, electric shock or injury.
16. Avoid using extension cables, as they may cause overheating or a fire hazard.
17. When the heater will not be in use, pull the plug from the power socket.
18. The heater must not be located immediately below a power socket.
19. Do not use this heater with a programmer, timer, separate remote-control system or any other
device that switches the heater on automatically, since a fire risk exists if the heater is covered or
positioned incorrectly.
20. Do not use this heater close to a bath, a shower or a swimming pool.
21. WARNING: This heater is not equipped with a device for controlling the temperature of the room.
Do not use this heater in a small room that is occupied by a person who is incapable of leaving the
room on their own, unless constant supervision is provided.
22. Children younger than 3 years should be kept away from the appliance unless continuously
supervised.
23. Children aged 3 years and above but less than 8 years must only be allowed to switch the
appliance on/off if it has been placed or installed in its intended normal operating position and they
have been given supervision or instruction concerning safe use of the appliance and understand
the hazards involved. Children aged 3 years and above but less than 8 years must not plug in,
regulate or clean the appliance or perform user maintenance.
24. CAUTION: Some parts of this appliance can become very hot and cause burns. Particular attention
must be paid when children and vulnerable people are present.
25. The appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or a lack of experience and knowledge if they have been
