1 Indications for use

The 434S7 Four-Way Chest Strap Kit is to be used exclusively to support
correction of the sitting posture and positioning of the user in a wheelchair
or seating system.
Attention!
This seat belt does not replace the safety belt when trans-
porting patients in a car.

2 Description and function

The 434S7 Four-Way Chest Strap Kit can be used in combination with
standard wheelchairs and Ottobock seating systems. The back of the wheel-
chair should be high enough so that the assembly points for the shoulder
straps are not too low. This strap kit consists of four straps that are buckle
with a four-way snap buckle to allow quick unbuckling.
The lower two straps fit across the hips and the upper two straps attach
to the seating system behind the shoulders to offer pelvis and upper body
support.
