Instructions for use
FIRE FAN P ON / OFF
1. INTRODUCTION
Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance.
The FIRE FAN convection air heater complies with European regulations EN-60335-2-30.
It is recommended to check the state of the appliance when it is unpacked, any factory
defect is covered by the guarantee.
2. IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS SAFETY WARNINGS
- The appliance must not be placed immediately below an electrical socket.
- Do not cover the appliance with objects or garments that impede the free circulation
of air. Covering the unit may cause it to overheat.
- While the appliance is in operation, the cable must not be in front of the air outlet.
- Do not use this heating device in the vicinity of a bath, shower or a swimming pool.
- No infl ammable objects should be placed at less than 50 cm from the hot air fl ow
(curtains, etc.).
- Keep the air inlet and outlet grilles clean. When cleaning the appliance, always
disconnect it from the mains.
- Do not manipulate with wet hands.
- If the fl exible power cord is damaged, it must be replaced in one of our repair shops
or by similar qualifi ed personnel to avoid hazards.
- This appliance is not designed for use by sensorial of physically handicapped people
(or children), or people without experience or knowledge, unless supervised or unless
they have been instructed about how to use the appliance by soemone in charge of
them.
- Children must be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
3. OPERATION
- Make sure that the mains voltage coincides with that indicated on the specifi cations plate.
- Plug the cable into the mains socket and set the switch to ON.
- Switching off. Set the switch to stop position.
Fireplace function
Once it has been checked that the fl ue is open, place the FIRE FAN convection air heater at
the base of the fl ue, resting on its rubber blocks, avoid placing it on papers, twigs or soot.
Switch on for 10-15 minutes to heat the column of air inside. With FIRE FAN removed from
the fi replace area, place the wood in the fi replace and you can easily proceed to light the
fi re.
4. MANTENANCE
1. Unplug the appliance from the mains before carrying out any maintenance operations on it.
2. Every season, clean out the dust accumulated inside with compressed air blown through the
inlet and outlet grilles. It is recommended for this operation to be carried out by professional.
