Use
1. Plug the AC adapter into a power outlet and press the power button. The unit will start
working.
2. To put your VortGuard Go into auto mode remove the cover from the smart optical sensor
(Fig.1). Once in auto mode, it will start and stop working per the room's light conditions in
order to ensure maximum efficiency.
3. To put the unit into manual mode cover the smart optical sensor with the cover (Fig.1). In
this mode the device will not react to room light conditions. This function is useful for
environments with high mosquito concentrations.

Maintenance and cleaning

1. When removing mosquitos from the Chem-Free Chamber ensure the unit is turned off.
Take the product with one hand and place it above a trashcan. Pivot the Flip n' Clean
cover (see Fig.2) with your other hand to empty the chamber.
2. Once done cleaning you can put the product back onto a flat surface and the Flip and
Clean cover will close automatically.
