... none of the charging indicator segments is displayed?
– The rechargeable battery is completely run down and is tak-
ing longer to charge.
... the appliance switches itself off?
– The battery is low. Charge up the Xpert in the charging unit or
work with mains power (power cord plugged directly into
appliance).
... the running time on one charge of the battery is much short-
er than before?
– The blade head may need to be cleaned and oiled. Proceed
as described on page 34.
– If this does not help, order a new rechargeable battery from
Wella Customer Service and insert it instead of the old one
(See "Changing the rechargeable battery" on page 35).
... it takes unusually long to recharge the battery?
– Have you put the appliance in the charging unit for the previ-
ous model? In that case a longer charging time is normal. You
can recognise the new charging unit by its darker colour.
... the battery will no longer charge?
– Order a new rechargeable battery from Wella Customer Serv-
ice and insert it instead of the old one (See "Changing the
rechargeable battery" on page 35).
