8 Disposal

This electrical appliance contains a lithium-ion re-
chargeable battery which must be removed before
disposal (See "Changing the rechargeable battery"
on page 35). The rechargeable battery must never

be disposed of as household waste.
If the electrical appliance is no longer to be used, re-
turn it to the place where you bought it or hand it in to
the special collection centre run by your local public
waste disposal authority (recycling centre, materials
recovery centre etc.).
The appliance must not be disposed of as household rubbish.
This also applies to electrical appliances that were last used in the
non-private sector, e.g. in branches of trade or industry. In cases
where public waste disposal authorities do not accept electrical ap-
pliances that have been used for non-private purposes, their waste
advisory services can provide information on environmentally
sound disposal.

9 Two-year guarantee

Dear Customer,
Thank you for deciding to purchase one of our products. For dec-
ades now the name Wella has stood for tested quality and first-
class service. We offer our customers innovative and efficient prod-
ucts.
Wella manufactures high-quality appliances and warrants the use of
high-grade materials and careful workmanship. We give two years'
guarantee from the date of purchase (invoice date) in the event of
defects in the quality of the product.
In addition to your contractual and statutory guarantee rights, Wella
offers you a manufacturer's guarantee on the following terms:
This manufacturer's guarantee applies for two years from the date
of purchase. It applies to deficiencies (errors, defects) that are due
to faults in materials or workmanship.
Our manufacturer's guarantee excludes:
• deficiencies caused by incorrect operation, normal wear and
tear, incorrect interference with the product by unauthorised per-
sons, or use of third-party products during assembly which do
not fit or do not function perfectly. Examples of typical parts that
